Ukrainian billionaire Rinat Akhmetov has bought a €200m home on the French Riviera, according to The Financial Times.
Villa des Cedres, a 18,000-square-foot villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, dates from 1870 and was once home to Leopold II of Belgium.
It was previously owned by Davide Campari-Milano SpA which had acquired the 14-bedroom mansion with 35 acres of land when it bought Société des Produits Marnier Lapostolle, the makers of Grand Marnier liqueur, in 2016.
Akhmetov's property portfolio also includes a £137m apartment in London's One Hyde Park.
