Half of beds in coronavirus hospitals in Ukraine are occupied, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov has said.
There are 16,076 coronavirus patients being treated in hospitals.
"This figure is increasing every day... This means that the number of people with the disease of severe or moderate gravity is growing... Beds are being taken, today it [occupancy rate] is 53.9% in Ukraine as a whole," Stepanov said.
In this regard, he signed an order to allocate five more hospitals in different for coronavirus treatment.
