Russian opposition politician Oleksiy Navalnyy has called on residents of Russia, Belarus and other countries to take part in daily protests against Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He has posted the message on Instagram.

"Putin is not Russia. And if there is anything in Russia now that we can be proud of, it is the 6835 people who were detained because they took to the streets without any calls but only with "No War" posters", Navalnyy has said.

He urged not to be afraid of the use of force by the authorities.

"If we have to fill prisons and paddy wagons with ourselves to end the war, we will fill prisons and paddy wagons. Everything has a price, and now, in the spring of 2022, we have to pay that price. There is nobody else. Let's not just "be against the war." Let's fight the war", Navalnyy has urged.

It is to be recalled that 45-year-old opposition politician Oleksiy Navalnyy has been behind bars in Russia since February 2021. He was imprisoned for a criminal case of fraud, which he considers to be politically motivated. Prior to that, in 2020, Navalnyy was poisoned. Researchers have confirmed the involvement of the FSB RF in the poisoning - the feds have been monitoring him for almost three years. In early 2022, Navalnyy's website published real photos of Vladimir Putin's palace.
