The daily American magazine TIME dedicated its cover to the war in Ukraine which was started by Russia.
The cover has the Ukrainian flag as the background, and the quote of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky written over it. He gave this quote during his speech at the European Parliament on March 1: "Life will overcome death, and the light will overcome darkness."

We’re reminding that today it’s the eighth day of war in Ukraine. Everyone who is ready and able to hold a weapon in their hands can join the territorial defense. The addresses of brigades and battalions of the territorial defense can be found on the website https://sprotyv.in.ua. Also, the head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko ordered the National Police regional heads to hand over weapons to veterans of internal affairs.
Ukrainians can donate blood in hospitals for wounded soldiers.
Zelenskyy noted that it is important for everyone to continue working. The banking system of Ukraine has all the necessary resources. Some restrictions have been temporarily imposed, in particular the limit on cash withdrawals - up to 100,000 hryvnyas per day.
