In an interview with TV channels "Pryamiy", "Espresso" and "Channel 5", the leader of the European Solidarity party and fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, stated; “Ukrainians have demonstrated that they are the best nation in the world while defending their state, their land, and their freedom.” He reiterated that “every city, every street and every house has become hell for enemies.”
Poroshenko further stated:
As we said - every home will be hell for them. Every house will become a fortress for us. And they are afraid to walk on Ukrainian soil. The only recourse for them is to get out of here. This is the only thing that will save lives. As of today the data of the Ministry of Defense confirmed, by objective facts, that during 7 days of war more than 6,000 Russian thieves left their lives here with us.
They [Russia] don't even take the coffins. They are ashamed to tell mothers, fathers, wives, or children [what happened to their loved ones] - because they can't explain why they died. The fact that most Ukrainians have a machine gun under their beds today, and will open fire without hesitation when these criminals break into their house, makes Ukraine invincible. emphasizes Petro Poroshenko.
"We have become a very united, very responsible, very European, very patriotic and, most importantly, one nation.
We have discussions no longer, no conflicts, no contradictions. Because we have one enemy - and the name of this enemy is Putin. We have one goal. And there is nothing more important than this goal - to win this war. To save Ukraine," the party leader said.
"We forgot to think about ourselves. Nobody is fleeing from the war here. We are all ready to defend the state. And it impresses everyone," Petro Poroshenko emphasizes.
