The Armed Forces, territorial defence units, police, and law enforcement agencies are ready to defend Kyiv. The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported and showed fortifications on the city's outskirts. He published the video on his page.
"Kyiv is being fortified to defend itself in case of an enemy attack. Today I drove through some checkpoints built to defend the city. Fighters of the Armed Forces, territorial defence, police and other security forces are ready and will defend the capital - the heart of Ukraine," Klitschko said.
He also visited the logistics centre of the Humanitarian Headquarters of Kyiv and reported on its work.
"I visited one of the big hubs - logistics centres, which the Humanitarian Headquarters of Kyiv form. It creates a reserve of food, clothing, basic necessities, and humanitarian aid - that is, everything to provide the city's inhabitants in martial law conditions. And we are creating several such hubs in the capital. I am grateful to businesses, foreign partners, and volunteers for the help," the UDAR party leader concluded.
