The head of Ukrzaliznytsia [Ukrainian Railways], Oleksandr Kamyshyn, announced on Telegram that Ukrzaliznytsia has had to recall its refrigerated wagons from stations where they had been sent to collect the remains of deceased Russian soldiers, as Russia does not intend to take away its dead.
"The Russian Deputy Defense Minister, Aleksei Kryvoruchko, ordered the burial of the bodies of Russian soldiers in mass graves, or their destruction on the spot. That is how Russia sees off its nameless sons. They are ready to deprive mothers of even the opportunity to bury their sons' bodies for the sake of "victorious" propaganda," he said.
Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia had sent 20 refrigerated cars to Fastiv, Odesa-Zastava, Podilsk, Merefa and Zaporizhzhia railway stations.
"The cars stood at these stations for three days, but the bodies of Russian soldiers were not loaded. It was probably pointless to expect the humane treatment of the remains of their soldiers, who had been part of the army bombing civilians," wrote the head of Ukrzaliznytsia.
As reported earlier, the occupiers have lost over 11 thousand soldiers, as of the morning of 6 March.
