From 24 February to 8 March, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine instituted 1,135 criminal proceedings for offences committed in Ukraine by militarists of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

Mainly, it is open to:

730 criminal proceedings under art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violations of the laws and customs of war),
-
356 criminal proceedings under art. 110 (Infringement on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine),
-
32 - art. 113 (Sabotage),
-
8 - Art. 258 (Terrorist Act).
Four criminal proceedings under art. 111 (State Treason) and art. 437 (Planning, preparation, initiation, and waging aggressive war), one criminal proceeding under art. 281 (Violation of air flight regulations) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The largest number of criminal proceedings on the facts committed by the Russian military were opened in Chernihiv (181), Kherson (141), Kyiv (138), Kharkiv (136), Donetsk (130), Sumy (87), Zhytomyr (68), Lugansk (43), Mykolayiv (41), Odesa (23), Cherkasy (23) (20), Dnipropetrovsk (20) regions and Kyiv city (53).
A total of 121 persons have been arrested for these crimes, and all have been informed of the suspicion.
Of the 81 suspects, prosecutors imposed a preventive measure in detention, 36 suspects were remanded in custody in court.
