The second evacuation column with civilians has started moving from Sumy. The Deputy Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko wrote about this in the Telegram.
"The second evacuation column has started moving from Sumy on the route of the humanitarian corridor," Tymoshenko wrote.
It should be reminded that it was agreed to start a 'silence regime' in Sumy at 9:00 am on March 8. The time frame of the humanitarian corridor is from 9:00 to 21:00 on March 8.
This fact was officially agreed with the Russian Federation in an official letter to the International Committee of the Red Cross. There is one route of the humanitarian corridor for the evacuation of people : Sumy - Golubivka - Lokhvytsia - Lubny - Poltava. No other routes were agreed upon.
According to the head of the Sumy regional state administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the situation on the way out of Sumy in the afternoon of March 8 is calm. The first evacuation column from the city moved according to plan.
