Ukraine's defense forces are repelling and holding back the attack of the Russian armed forces in all directions. The occupying troops lost their combat capability and added reserves into operation in some of them. To increase its combat capabilities, the enemy relocates units and military forces from other strategic directions to the borders of Ukraine. This is stated in the operational report of the Ministry of Defense as of 24:00 on 9 March 2022.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that the Republic of Belarus supports the occupier. In particular, Belarus ensures the supply of fuels and machine oil, railway infrastructure, and airfield network.

Sabotage of military and civilian infrastructure remains a possibility.

The Russian Federation doesn't quit plans to surround Kyiv and continues the attack operation in the Polissia and Siversk directions.

In the Slobozhansk direction, the enemy keeps towns Izyum, Petrovske, Hrushuvakha, and the cities of Sumy and Okhtyrka under attack.

The enemy is moving forward in the Donetsk and Tavriia directions.

The enemy increases the number of troops in the Mykolaiv direction. In the Black Sea and Azov operational zones, the occupiers continue to isolate the war actions zone. Naval groups of the Russian Naval Forces are located in the areas of cape Tarkhankut and lake Donuzlav.
