The second shipment of Starlink systems arrives in Ukraine

Fedorov says the second shipment is significantly bigger

Ukraine Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced on his Telegram channel that Ukraine received a new satellite internet systems Starlink shipment from Elon Musk.

"Today, we received a second, much bigger shipment of Starlink stations that would help our military, support critical infrastructure, medical, financial and energy services," said Fedorov. He added that the war makes the impossible possible, both negative and positive.

The first Starlink shipment arrived in Ukraine on February 28. Starlink is a project of Elon Musk's SpaceX that provides broadband internet access via satellites, first launched in 2020 in the U.S. and Canada.

Starlink is a network of satellites communicating on 10000GHz frequencies via a laser beam. Satellites communicate with ground stations and user terminals with the help of Ka-antennas through 12GHz radio bands. Starlink can provide an internet connection of up to 1Gigabit per second in any place on earth.
