Kuleba arrived in Antalia to meet with Lavrov

The Minister of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Dmytro Kuleba, arrived in Antalya, Turkey for negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Serhiy Lavrov.

This was announced by the spokesman of the MFA, Oleh Nikolenko.

The meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Ukraine, and Russia will occur within the diplomatic forum framework.

"As invited by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlut Chavushoglu, Dmytro Kuleba arrived in Antalya for negotiations on Russia's cessation of war actions and the war against Ukraine," he wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, Kuleba said that expectations from the meeting with Lavrov were low. The Ukrainian side has three goals: to cease the fire, liberate our territories, and resolve all humanitarian catastrophes created by the Russian army.

The Ukrainian minister also said that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was ready to meet Putin. Kuleba will inform Lavrov about it.

"I will tell Lavrov once again. Our president is not afraid of anything, including a direct meeting with Putin. If Putin is not afraid either, let them sit down and talk," Kuleba said earlier.

On February 23rd, 2022, Russia recognized the terrorist organizations "DNR" and "LNR" as "republics" and authorised bringing more russian troops into the separatist territories.

On 24 February 2022, the president of the Russian Federation, Volodymyr Putin, declared war on Ukraine under the pretext of a "special operation on Donbas".

On 24 February 2022, Russia began bombing and shelling Ukrainian cities and towns, destroying infrastructure, and killing civilians.

Currently, Ukrainians continue to resist the occupying forces. The main focus of the Russians is on the encirclement of Kyiv and the weakening of resistance in settlements close to the capital.

On 25 February 2022, Zelenskyy invited Putin to sit down at the negotiating table. Putin said that if Ukraine "continues to behave in the same way," he will "question the future of its statehood." He also threatened countries that could respond to Ukraine's request to close the airspace to Russian aircraft. He said that Russia would consider any other attempt by other countries to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine as part of war actions.

ZN.UA has already reported that Ukrainian special services have information about Putin's plan to seize Kyiv and divide Ukraine into two parts on the principle of East and West Germany, or North and South Korea. Thus, the Russian Federation will recognize as legitimate that part which will sign these agreements and will be loyal to the Russian Federation.
