The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine named the companies that decided to stay and work on the Russian market after the Russian war against Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ukrainian diplomats addressed these companies to reconsider their decisions and completely cease operations in Russia, and responsible businesses, governments, and consumers worldwide to boycott such companies and their products.

"Every product that a company supplies, produces, or sells on the Russian market contributes to the military budget, which has always been a priority for the Russian government over any basic needs of its citizens," the statement said.

The MFA emphasized that in two weeks of unprovoked military aggression of Russia, more than 50 children have died due to airstrikes and shootings.

"Regardless of the size of Russia's investment or share of the global portfolio, companies that adhere to environmental, social and corporate governance standards and values have no moral right to continue to operate in a country that commits mass war crimes in another country ... The only exceptions may be companies whose supplies are justified by critical humanitarian needs, "the ministry added.

Metro, Auchan, LG, Miele, Bosch, Bayer and Pfizer, banks Raiffeisen, Credit Agricole, and UniCredit Group are among the remaining companies in Russia.

The Russian Ministry of Economy has proposed to "introduce external management" in companies owned by foreigners by at least 25% but left the Russian market due to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.

Foreign companies have begun to leave Russia en masse because of sanctions in response to military aggression against Ukraine.

Today, Brown-Forman Corp., a manufacturer of Jack Daniel's whiskey and Finlandia vodka, decided to suspend business in Russia. Also, today it became known that the American lingerie brand Victoria's Secret is leaving Russia, and KFC and Pizza Hut are closing their restaurants in the country. In addition, Coca-Cola, a network of Starbuck coffee shops, has stopped operating in Russia yesterday, and McDonald's "will temporarily close" its restaurants in Russia.

Earlier, the company Procter & Gamble also announced that it would stop investing and advertising in Russia and leave only the sale of essential hygiene products, which will also reduce.
