White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki stated that Russia could use chemical weapons in Ukraine, blaming our country.
"We have taken into account Russia's false statements about alleged American biological weapons laboratories and the development of chemical weapons in Ukraine. We have also seen Chinese officials repeat these conspiracy theories," she wrote on Twitter.
Psaki refuted the false statements of Russian propagandists. However, she called on Ukraine to be vigilant, as Russia could use chemical or biological weapons under the guise of a "false flag".
"Russia has made these false claims, and China seems to have supported this propaganda. Now all of us must ensure that Russia cannot use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine or create an operation under a false flag using them," she wrote on Twitter.
Psaki stressed that Russia continues to support the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, who has repeatedly used chemical weapons. Russia has long supported the biological weapons program, which violates international law.
In addition, Russia has a long and well-documented history of the use of chemical weapons, including attempts to assassinate and poison Putin's political enemies, such as Alexei Navalnyy.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Healthcare Ministry published instructions on what to do in case of a chemical attack or an accident at a chemical plant.
Today, Russian troops launched an airstrike on Mariupol and shelled maternity and children's hospitals; there were many victims. Both buildings were destroyed.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova mentioned the maternity hospital during a briefing. She stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly forced patients to leave the hospital and set up "firing positions". The spokeswoman has long made absurd accusations against the Ukrainian military and tried to move the Russians by recalling the 1995 seizure of a hospital in Budyonnovsk, Russia.
She stressed that, "there is no excuse for people who resort to this." Four hours after Zakharova's speech, Russia struck at the hospital and maternity hospital.
