The Ministry of Defence of the UK said on Twitter that Russian troops had blocked the Black Sea coast of Ukraine, cutting it off from international maritime trade, CNN reports.
A British military intelligence report posted on the ministry's Twitter account said: "Russia's navy has imposed a remote blockade of Ukraine's Black Sea coast, effectively isolating Ukraine from international maritime trade."
British intelligence also reports that Russia's navy "continues to launch missile strikes on targets throughout Ukraine" and that Moscow has "conducted one naval landing in the Sea of Azov and can conduct similar operations in the next weeks.”
