The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) of Ukraine reported on suspicion of treason to the former First Deputy Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, who passed on to the occupiers the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the PGO’s press service.
From 24 February to 16 March, 2022, a citizen of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv joined the anti-Ukrainian chats in messengers and passed to the representatives of the Russian Federation and representatives of the DPR / LPR data on the location of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With a military education, he was aware that this information would be used by the enemy to further bomb peaceful cities, "the Prosecutor General's Office said. The detainee is also suspected of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.
"The suspect was detained under Article 615 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. During the search, pistols, ammunition, grenades and a mobile phone were found and confiscated. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being resolved," the PGO press service said. Earlier the assistant to the people's deputy of OFPL was caught on espionage for FSB of Russia. According to the State Bureau of Investigation, 120 criminal proceedings for treason and collaboration have already been registered.
