Ukrainian army pushes Russian troops 70 km away from Kyiv's right bank

Russia banked on Kyiv falling quickly, however their plan has failed. As of today Ukrainian Army has stopped Russian troops at a distance of almost 70 kilometers from Kyiv down the right bank of Dnipro. This was reported at the briefing by commander of Armed forces of Ukraine.

Expanding the outer defense ring to 70 kilometers makes it impossible to fire on the capital with something other than missiles. This was announced at a briefing by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Command, Brigadier General Oleksandr Gruzevych.

"On the left bank there was a slight advance of the Russian troops, but overall successfully eliminated", - he said.

Now Russians switched to a new tactic and are waging the bloody war by killing civilians, shelling kindergartens, hospitals and residential houses in Kyiv as well as in other cities across the country.

As of today Kyiv is protected by the two rings of defense, fortifications, and Air Defense Systems. Despite the presence of air defense, it is essential for everyone in Kyiv to properly react to air raid sirens urging people to seek shelters.

In addition, multiple reconnaissance and sabotage groups were detected in Kyiv. In recent days, Security Service of Ukraine eliminated nearly 100 saboteurs, and overall almost 35 sabotage groups were detected and eliminated in Kyiv since the beginning of war.
