Ukrainian Railways will reestablish paid rides from west to center, east and south, as well as abroad, starting from the next week.
This was announced by Oleksandr Kamyshyn, chairman of the board of Ukrainian Railways during all-Ukrainian telethon, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"Rides from west to center, east and south will now carry a fee. Also, we will reintroduce paid rides abroad this week," - said Kamyshyn.
Ukrainian Railways press service pointed out that evacuation trains will remain free of charge.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kyrylo Tymoshenko also said that Ukrainian Railways have evacuated 2.77m people from east, north and south to the central and western regions in March.
Over 27.3 thousand tons of humanitarian aid were delivered.
33 employees of Ukrainian Railways have died since the beginning of full-scale war in Ukraine.
