Russian occupiers ruined, destroyed, or damaged at least 45 educational institutions in the Kyiv region.
This was informed by the Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba.
“We know that 45 educational institutions in the Kyiv region have been ruined or damaged because of the enemy’s shelling - in Dmytrivska, Petrivska, Velykodymerska, Makarivska municipalities,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Ruined and damaged are:
- 3 institutions of vocational education;
25 institutions of secondary education;
14 institutions of preschool;
3 extracurricular activity institutions;
Department of Education of Borodyanska municipality.
Information is not available about the state of educational institutions in Poliska, Ivankivska, Piskivska, Dymerska municipalities as connection with them has been lost.
On 19 March, 489 educational institutions in Ukraine have been damaged because of the Russian army’s actions.
