In Trostyanets (Sumy region), the Russian occupiers killed two men. A grenade was thrown at them.

According to the investigation, on 18 March 2022, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces, using means prohibited by international law, threw a grenade at people on one of the streets of Trostyanets. The blast killed two men.
The pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war is being conducted under the procedural guidance of the Okhtyrka District Prosecutor's Office. The pre-trial investigation was entrusted to the investigator of the police department # 1 (Trostyanets) of the Okhtyrka district police department.
On 18 March defense forces of Ukraine destroyed a column of enemy equipment near Trostyanets of the Sumy region.
And on March 16, the 93rd Kholodny Yar military unit destroyed a howitzer division of Russian troops stationed at the Trostyanets railway station.
