During the 25 days of the war against Russian aggression, 1,271 crimes against Ukraine's national security were registered.
This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrskyy.
He stressed that every traitor will be brought to justice.
"During the 25 days of the Russian invasion, 1,271 crimes against national security were registered in Ukraine. 922 of them were encroachments on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine's borders, 244 - for treason, 48 - for sabotage and 57 - for other reasons," Monastyrskyy said.
The Minister stressed that most of the detained saboteurs are citizens of Ukraine. Some of them came from the temporarily occupied territories or from other countries.
In Kharkiv, the saboteur posted a video with the sign "Za Rus" (For Russia). The locals found him
"Some have only a residence permit, some seem to have been in Ukraine permanently, but hardly crossed the border with Russia, where they were enrolled, and later sent back to perform the tasks of their masters," Monastyrskyy wrote.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs advises citizens to pay attention to atypical behavior of people on streets, as well as from inner circles. It is worth watching out for strangers who have weapons but are not members of the Armed Forces or the Territorial Defense Forces. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also advises to pay attention to the sudden return of some neighbors from abroad.
