The Russian occupiers have made more than 80 air sorties, 29 of which - from the airfields of Baranovychi and Bobruysk in Belarus.

This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to operative information as of 18.00 on 22 March, the Russian occupiers, not succeeding in the war, continue to shell Ukrainian cities and villages from the air.

"The enemy continues to launch missile and bomb strikes using airstrikes on military and civilian infrastructure in the Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions ... Bombers, assault and fighter aircraft were involved in striking targets. In order to conduct air reconnaissance of objects on the territory of Ukraine, the enemy used five reconnaissance aircraft," the General Staff said.

To support the occupiers on land, there are 5 Russian ships of various types in the northeastern part of the Sea of Azov. There are also ships in the Black Sea and Azov operational zones.

Despite this, Russian army personnel is demoralized because of heavy losses.

"Cases of mass rejection of the Russian Armed Forces to take part in the war against Ukraine continue to be recorded. According to available information, about 220 servicemen have refused to take part in the armed aggression against Ukraine in the 155th Separate Marine Brigade since the beginning of the war," the General Staff said.

As of 24 February this year, about 50 servicemen have been killed and about 110 wounded in this unit.

The occupying forces have serious problems with logistics in all directions.

An improperly organized medical care system increases the number of losses of the Russian army as well.

Because of untimely medical care, lack of medicines and the system of medical evacuation of the wounded, heavy losses have been suffered by units of the 7th Assault Division of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," said the General Staff of the UAF.

At the same time, the Ukrainian military continues to deter the aggressor's offensive and destroy his resources in all directions.

Today the UAF has brought down the enemy`s "Iskander" over the Vinnytsia area and also destroyed the Russian plane over Mariupol. In the Slobozhanskyy direction they have shot down a Russian drone and two planes.
