NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has called on Belarus to stop helping Russia in its war against Ukraine.

At a press conference in Brussels on Wednesday, the secretary general of the alliance reminded that Belarus "was an ally of this invasion from the very beginning," Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"Even before it began, because Belarus allowed its territory to be used to mobilize large Russian units to invade Ukraine. Belarus continues to help by providing territory, military infrastructure, and allowing Russia to use airspace to attack Ukrainian civilians. Belarus is already involved because of supporting the Russian invasion. We call on Belarus to stop this and Russia to stop using it to wage this brutal war against its neighbor, Ukraine," Stoltenberg said.

Earlier today, the head of the Rivne Region Military Administration Vitaliy Koval stated that the missiles dropped on the Rivne region were flying from the territory of Belarus.

The threat of an attack on Volyn from the territory of Belarus is assessed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as high.

Today it became known that Belarus is sending some Ukrainian diplomats and closing the Ukrainian consulate in Brest. The day before, Belarus called 19 employees of the Ukrainian embassy in Minsk "spies".
