Vinnytsia was attacked with missiles from the Russian occupiers’ side.
This was reported by the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Serhiy Borzov.
After that, the Command of the Ukrainian Air Force shared on Telegram that “…around 4.30 pm Russian occupiers carried out a missile strike on the territory of the Command of the Ukrainian Air Force in Vinnytsia”.
Russia fired 6 cruise missiles. Part of them was shot down by air defence. The rest hit a few buildings and caused significant damage. The data on the consequences of the missile strike is being specified at the moment.
The head of the Vinnytsia RMA Serhiy Borzov urges the residents of the region not to ignore the air-raid siren. If they hear it, they should come down to hiding places or bomb shelters.
As a reminder, on the night of 16 March, Russian occupiers carried out an air strike on Vinnytsia and the region. Because of the attack on the TV tower, the on-air broadcasting in Vinnytsia was temporarily out of service.
