Ukraine calls to recognize the Russian Federation as a terrorist state and concentrate the world's efforts to confront Russian aggression against Ukraine.
This was stated during a speech at the American Atlantic Council by the Head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak.
"To hold out, we need very specific things. Firstly, full-scale real-time intelligence data exchange. Secondly, heavy weapons. We need a full-fledged lend-lease," he said. "Thirdly, we need to close the sky. Or planes for Ukraine, or air police, which will provide protection of civilian infrastructure. Or long-range air defense systems. There are lots of variants. But unfortunately, there's no political will yet."
According to the Head of the Office of the President, Ukraine will not be satisfied with any configuration that threatens the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"We will not be satisfied with a compromise on Russian terms. The victim of aggression does not have to pay for peace. It's the aggressor's time to pay. We call for strengthening the sanctions regime. To the embargo on Russian utilities,” said Andrii Yermak. “This war finally destroyed the old system of international security. We need to build a new one now. And Ukraine has proven that it is worth being not only its founder, but also a leading participant."
Earlier, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson at the NATO summit urged the participating countries to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. According to the British Prime Minister, the Alliance has the ability to increase weapons supplies.
