The Mykolaiv regional military administration head told about the situation in the region.
Vitaliy Kim emphasized that today, 28 March, is the day when Mykolaiv is liberated from fascist invaders. "And now we are working to liberate the region from Russian invaders. Here is such a turn of events," he said.
The head said that he hopes for the negotiations in Turkey.
Kim recalled that a month ago, on 28 February, Turkey closed the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles to Russian ships.
"Silently, without hesitation. And Russian ships were heading there to shell Mykolayiv and southern Ukraine. This support is crucial for the Black Sea regions," Kim said, thanking Turkey.
He noted that the authorities are working to deliver humanitarian aid to Snihurivka.
"We know and understand what is happening. We are currently transporting the cargo. The humanitarian corridor has not been opened all over Ukraine due to possible provocations. But we will still try to bring it there," the RMA head said.
On 14 March, Russia struck an airstrike on Snihurivka, destroying eleven houses and damaging another thirty homes.
The Russians have occupied Snihurivka for more than a week.
