The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with a new package of financial and military assistance. This was tweeted by the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who attended Kyiv today.
"Today in Kyiv I met my friend, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It was a sign of our steadfast support to the Ukrainian people. We represented a new package of financial and military support, which is a testament to our commitment to his country’s struggle against the barbaric russian campaign”, he said.
During a briefing with the Ukrainian President, Johnson noted that putin's war crimes in Bucha, Irpen and other Ukrainian cities, were a devastating blow to both his and russian government's reputation.
“The troops’ withdrawal is only temporary, there is more pressure needed in this particular case. All together we will strengthen economic pressure and sanctions against russia every week. We will not only have unlimited asset freezes or sanctions against oligarchs. We will affect russia's ability to use its energy resources. We will provide Ukraine with economic support and military assistance”, mentioned Johnson.

He stressed Great Britain’s trade liberalization for Ukrainian economic help.
Assistance with demining and supply to Ukraine of equipment, technology, intelligence, are also in plans.
The United Kingdom will transfer another 100 million pounds of weapons to Ukraine, including Starstreak anti-aircraft systems.
The British Ministry of Defense is considering armored vehicles such as Mastiff, as well as cars like the Chakal, as transferring options. All mentioned can be used as reconnaissance or long-range patrol.
