The Pentagon is considering ways to train more Ukrainian troops to use Switchblade drones and other systems provided by the United States to the Ukrainian military.

Such training will be conducted by US troops deployed to support NATO's eastern flank over the past few months.
According to the official, the Pentagon is considering "a number of options" for training the Ukrainian military to work with Switchblade drones and other weapons systems in addition to training for Ukrainians in the United States.
"We have absolutely expanded our capabilities in the countries of the eastern flank," he said. - There are soldiers with various sets of capabilities and various professional skills, whether it’s artillery, long-range missiles, air defense, infantry, armored vehicles. The United States and Ukraine are holding intensive consultations on a new package of military assistance, which will take into account the specifics of hostilities in eastern and southern Ukraine.
Pentagon officials informed The New York Times on condition of anonymity that they are discussing with arms manufacturers five possible supplies: air defense, coastal defense (anti-ship missiles), enemy infantry destroyers, including Claymore mines, demining equipment and means of counterbattery control.
