Russian occupiers continue to prepare for an illegal referendum on the proclamation of the so-called "Kherson People's Republic." To falsify the results, it is planned to use the personal data of residents collected during the issuance of so-called "humanitarian aid."
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Among the residents, there is also information that after the announcement of the results of the pseudo-referendum, their "mobilization" to the ranks of the armed forces of the russian federation will begin," - said the General Staff.
Meanwhile, in Izium, the invaders had already begun forced mobilization of men due to a lack of human resources. After all, the russians spontaneously leave their units. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "during the preparation events before the departure of units to participate in the war with Ukraine at the training grounds in the territory of the russian federation, more than 50 cases of spontaneous abandonment of field camps by personnel were noted."
In the Crimea temporarily occupied by russia, a lot of public resonance gained information about Ukraine's destruction of the missile cruiser "Moscow." Therefore, among the population, there is increased mistrust of information distributed by official russian media.
The situation in other directions is as follows:
⎼ in the Southern Bug direction, the enemy continued to concentrate his main efforts on holding the positions;
⎼ in the Volyn and Polissia directions Russia did not take active actions;
⎼ in the Siversk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the likelihood of using sabotage and reconnaissance groups by the enemy and the task of missile strikes from the territory of the russian federation on the military and civilian infrastructure of Ukraine remains;
⎼ in the Slobozhanskyy direction, the enemy continues to partially block Kharkiv and is trying to carry out fire damage to the positions of units of our troops and critical infrastructure;
⎼ in the Donetsk and Tavria directions, invaders intensified combat actions. Missile and bomb strikes on Mariupol continue, in particular with the use of strategic ТU-22М3 bombers. Also, russian occupiers tried to carry out assault actions near the seaport and the Azovstal plant.
"Ukrainian defenders and defenders women keep the defense and gradually push back enemy troops in certain directions," -stressed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
