Zaluzhny discussed the situation in Ukraine with the Head of the General Staff of the United States

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley.

Zaluzhniy announced this on Facebook.

"I spoke with my American counterpart, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. He shared information about the difficult situation in the Eastern and Southern Ukraine, where heavy fighting continues," Zaluzhniy wrote.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reiterated that Ukraine needs urgent assistance and thanked for what has already been provided.

"I assured that we would definitely preserve the whole experience of this difficult war and share it with our partners so that world evil would be punished," Zaluzhny added.

Earlier, the Pentagon revealed the contents of a new package of military aid to Ukraine of 800 m dollars, which was announced by the US President Joe Biden.
