The russian military prepare a series of fake referendums to “legalize” occupational administrations.
It is informed by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Thus, ballot papers, forms, brochures, posters, and leaflets are being printed in the occupied part of the Kherson region to hold voting at “referendums” to create a sham “KhNR” republic and recognize the occupying authority. As it was informed earlier, the capacity of the printing house in the city of Nova Kakhovka is used for this purpose.
Local residents are sure that no actual voting will take place, except for demonstration at some polling stations as a “picture” for russian propaganda mass media.
The occupants intend to formalize the “voting” using passport data collected during the distribution of the “humanitarian aid” (to get food rations, the local residents had to fill in forms and disclose personal data).
The “referendum” on the election of the mayor and accession to the occupied Crimea is being also prepared in the town of Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv region. The residents are called to come to polling stations at a specified time. The event is being organized by local collaborators – chairman of the city council Tetiana Mezina and former chairman Oleksandr Larchenko.
Russian troops started a “census” of the senior persons in the occupied Snihurivka village in the Zaporizhzhia region. The occupants announced the establishment of russian administration until 01 September, the opening of the “post office of russia”, the launch of mobile communication and internet services from russian providers, the introduction of the russian ruble. There is information about the issuance of russian passports.
Russia occupied Crimea after unlawful referendum on 16 March 2014. Later the occupants held fake referendum in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions that resulted in the announcement of the terrorist organizations “DNR” and “LNR” as “republics”.
