91-year-old Wanda Obedkova, who survived the Nazi occupation in childhood, died in russian-occupied Mariupol.
This was reported by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Museum on Twitter.
"At the age of 10, Wanda Semenivna Obyedkova survived the German occupation while hiding in a basement in Mariupol. 81 years later, she died in a basement in the same city, hiding from russian troops," the statement said.
96-year-old Boris Romanchenko who managed to survive several Nazi concentration camps during World War II lost his life in Kharkiv in March as a result of the russian shelling.
