After receiving spare parts from other countries, the Ukrainian Air Forces have been replenished with about 20 combat-ready aircraft. CNN reports that this information was provided by a high-ranking US Department of Defense representative.
The Pentagon official did not specify which state provided the parts for the aircraft but said the United States and other countries were working on "getting the parts they need for their (Ukrainian aircraft - ed.) flights."
According to the official, now the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF) have more aircraft than three weeks ago.
Earlier, the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, John Kirby, declared that Ukraine received aircraft and spare parts from Western countries. Later, the UAF denied this information and said that only spare parts and components for the repair of aircraft were transferred.
