"And we are imposing new sanctions on 40 russian individuals and five legal entities, oligarchs, and close associates of the regime in the defense sector, all of them involved in Putin's war," Trudeau was quoted as saying by Reuters.

The head of the Canadian government arrived in Kyiv yesterday with an unannounced visit. Trudeau met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and visited Irpin, a town near the Ukrainian capital where the russian occupiers had committed atrocities.
