Russia has launched intense and chaotic bombardment on Ukrainian cities, ignoring civilian casualties. This is the demonstration of shortcomings in russia's ability to make accurate scaling strikes, as announced on Twitter by the UK Ministry of Defense citing data from its intelligence.

According to the report, at the beginning of its invasion of Ukraine, Russia claimed its ability to inflict surgical strikes and cause selective damage. It claimed that Ukrainian cities would be safe during the bombing.

“However, as the conflict continues to undermine russia’s pre-war expectations, russia’s stockpiles of precision attack missiles are likely to be significantly depleted. This has forced them to use readily available but obsolete munitions that are less reliable, less accurate and easier to intercept,” the statement said.

UK intelligence predicts that russia is likely to try to replace the precision weaponry it has already used.

The UK Defence Intelligence stated that war in Ukraine causes serious damage to the most combat-ready units and the most advanced forces of russia.
