Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi showed American M777 towed 155mm Howitzer in action.
Zaluzhnyi posted on FB the pictures of Ukrainian artillerists refining their skills in handling American weapon.
"Our artillerists are sending best wishes and thank american people for M777 howitzers. My boys know what is a good piece of artillery. They say, those are very precise and effective weapon. Together for the victory!" - writes Zaluzhnyi.
Besides US, M777 howitzers were send to Ukraine from Canada and Australia.
As on May 2nd, Ukraine has received 80% of expected from US M777 howitzers.
According to the information from 9th of May, the M777 towed 155mm howitzers manufactured by BAE Systems provided to Ukraine by western allies, were delivered to artillery units.
