France will provide Ukraine with an additional batch of "Caesar" self-propelled howitzers.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Catherine Colonna, stated this at a joint briefing with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.

"There will be new deliveries of ACS "Caesar" soon. We will continue working in this direction. Also, we have already gathered 100m euros in humanitarian aid. Crop seeds, fire trucks, and ambulances will also be donated," she said.

Dmytro Kuleba added that the need to provide Ukraine with more 155-caliber artillery systems remains extremely important for victory in the battle of Donbas.

France has already delivered ACS "Caesar" to Ukraine. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, said that the Ukrainian army is already using them on the front lines. ACS "Caesar" allows reaching the enemy within 20 km or more from the front line with high accuracy.

The self-propelled howitzer Caesar has wheeled chassis, making it mobile and maneuverable. The howitzer is equipped with an automated self-binding and self-targeting system." It has a reasonably high fire rate - 5 shots per minute and high fire accuracy. Several types of 155 mm ammunition used in NATO countries are suitable for Ceasar.
