The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, reacted to the statement of the President of France Emmanuel Macron about the need to avoid the “humiliation of russia.”
In a Twitter post, Kuleba wrote that “calls to avoid humiliating russia can only humiliate France and any other country that would call for it. Because it is russia that humiliates itself.
“We all better focus on how to put russia in its place. This will bring peace and save lives,” the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes.
This came as a reaction to the statement of Macron during a conversation with journalists, when he said that Putin has “made a historical and fundamental error for his people, for himself and history.”
The French president added that “we must not humiliate russia so that the day the fighting stops, we can build a way out through diplomatic channels.”
