A helicopter and a plane owned by the family of MP Viktor Medvedchuk, a treason suspect and close friend of Vladimir Putin, have been handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the strategic investigations department of the National Police has said.
They were confiscated within the cases of abuse of office and appropriation or embezzlement through abuse of office.
The confiscated property was arrested on the request of the Prosecutor-General's Office and later transferred to the army.
Earlier, a court impounded Medvedchuk's Vedmezha Dibrova mansion and other assets whose end beneficiary is Oksana Marchenko.
Medvedchuk is in custody at least until 9 August.
