President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted a motion to parliament to dismiss Kyrylo Shevchenko from the post of governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.
MPs may consider Shevchenko's resignation request as soon as at the next session.
Yesterday, Shevchenko announced that he had decided to resign due to health reasons. He had been heading the central bank since July 2020.
