Ukraine and Côte d'Ivoire have agreed to intensify cooperation in security, digitalization, education and agriculture, the spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Oleh Nikolenko, has said.
"Côte d'Ivoire announced its decision to join the Crimea Platform. Abidjan is in solidarity with Ukraine amid Russian aggression," the Foreign Ministry said.
During his visit to Côte d'Ivoire, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also opened a business forum with the participation of more than 20 Ukrainian and Ivorian companies.
The next stop on his tour is Ghana.
Kuleba is on the first tour of Africa in the history of Ukrainian diplomacy.
