The Czech Republic will provide Ukraine with new defenсe assistance in the form of heavy weapons, short and long-barreled weapons and ammunition, the Czech news website haas reported following Czech Defence Minister Jana Černochová's talks with representatives of the country's defence industry.
It is not reported what exactly will be sent. According to journalists, these may be tanks.
The decision to allocate additional aid to Ukraine was made on 5 October. As of now, Czech military aid to Ukrainians has amounted to $4.2 billion.
Recently a Czech media outlet reported that South Korea is going to provide Ukraine with weapons through the Czech Republic.
