Russia has delivered Iranian-made kamikaze drones Shahed-136 to Belarus, presumably for attacks on the western regions of Ukraine, the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defence Forces West has said.

"According to Belarusian sources, Iranian drones were delivered to the Luninets airfield. We are talking about at least 20 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and their control units. It should be noted that there is only 55 km from Luninets to the border with Rivne Region," the military said.

They added that they do not rule out that in the near future Iranian drones would attack western or central regions of Ukraine.

Therefore, the military urged residents not to ignore air raid alarms under any circumstances.

Yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian army launched attack drones mainly from the territory of occupied Crimea. Ukrainian intelligence did not rule out Russia might deploy the drones to Belarus.

Today Russia attacked Zaporizhzhya with Iranian UAVs for the first time.
