Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Gen Valeriy Zaluzhny has held a telephone conversation with Supreme Allied Commander Europe and Commander of the United States Forces in Europe Gen Christopher Cavoli.
They discussed the operational situation and the Ukrainian Defence Forces' further plans. They also discussed existing and potential threats from Russia and Belarus.
"The strategic initiative is in our hands, so the main thing is not to stop," Zaluzhnyy pointed out on Facebook.
He added that "maintaining dialogue and a high level of military cooperation with partner countries, as well as gaining interoperability with their armed forces, remains among our priorities".
