Today, rescuers completed a search operation under the rubble of a residential building, which was hit by a Russian missile on 13 October, the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevych reported on social networks.

"At 14:30 they took out the body of the last victim. In total, the bodies of six victims were unblocked from the rubble of the building," - Sienkevych specified.

According to him, as a result of Russian shelling on 13 October, eight residents of the building and one rescuer who was on duty at the boat station were killed. "Four high-rise buildings were damaged. In one of them, where the rocket hit, two entrances are in a state of emergency," the mayor added.

Senkevych stressed that law enforcement officers will be patrolling the building for several days so that people would not have to worry about their property.

Now the utilities will clean the territory of debris and garbage. And repair crews will board up the windows in the surviving apartments with oriented strand boards.

On the night of 13 October, Mykolaiv was massively shelled by S-300 missiles. An 11-year-old boy was rescued from the rubble after being trapped there for six hours. Yesterday the child died in hospital. Also, on this day, the bodies of five more victims were unblocked.
