Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhaylo Fedorov has urged Ukrainians not to worry about the operation of Starlink terminals.
"Starlink terminals have worked, are working and will continue to work. Do not worry," the minister said on Telegram.
Elon Musk's SpaceX company warned the Pentagon that it could stop funding Starlink satellite communications in Ukraine unless it pay tens of millions of dollars a month.
According to SpaceX, about 85% of the 20,000 terminals in Ukraine were paid for or partially paid for by countries such as the USA and Poland or other organizations. They also paid for about 30% of internet access, which costs $4,500 per month per unit of the most advanced service.
