Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov during a nationwide telethon UArazom stated that, according to the Ministry of Defence, the Russian Federation currently has about 300 Iranian drones and intends to purchase several thousand more.

"We have new challenges - these are drones that the Russians bought in Iran, which, however, denies that it supplies them, but the fact remains," the head of the defence ministry said.

According to the Ministry of Defence, about 300 units of Iranian drones are currently in service with the Russian military. The Minister informed that the Russians are trying to purchase several thousand more such drones. And Ukraine should be ready for this.

According to Reznikov, the Ukrainian military have already learned how to shoot down Iranian-made drones. The downed devices are being disassembled, studied, and, accordingly, various countermeasures are being prepared.

"We have informed all our main partners about the drone issue. We are cooperating with them, and they are interested in organizing assistance for us. Therefore, more than one country is involved in this process," the minister stressed.

Thus, Ukraine will receive systems of drone suppression by electronic warfare.

Earlier, Oleksii Reznikov said that Russia currently has 609 high-precision missiles left.
