Since the start of its full-scale invasion on 24 February, Russia has lost 65,000 troops in Ukraine, including 300 over the past day alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff said on 16 October.
Other approximate total losses include 2,529 (+5) tanks, 5,193 (+14) armoured personnel vehicles, 1,589 (+7) artillery systems, 365 MLRS, 186 anti-aircraft systems, 268 aircraft, 242 helicopters, 1,224 (+14) operational-tactical level UAVs, 316 cruise missiles, 16 warships/boats, 3,959 (+8) vehicles and fuel tankers, 143 (+1) pieces of special equipment.
Russia took the heaviest losses in the past day in the Kryvyy Rih and Bakhmut directions.
