Russian troops shelled two communities in Dnipropetrovsk Region on the morning of 16 October, firing over 40 projectiles on Nikopol, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, has said on Telegram.
"They fired Grads and heavy artillery on two communities – Nikopol and Marhanets. It was the hottest in Nikopol. Over 40 Russian projectiles landed there. A 47-year-old man was injured," he said.
Several fires broke out as a result of the shelling, they were extinguished. Nearly 30 apartment blocks and private houses, an industrial company, cars, several gas pipelines and power transmission lines.
No victims were reported in the Marhanets community.
