The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed former Ukrainian ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk as deputy foreign minister, the government's representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, has said.
The Cabinet of Ministers also dismissed Vasyl Volodin from the post of state secretary of the Ministry for the Development of Communities and Territories and appointed Anatoliy Kasiyanyk as acting state secretary.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed nine ambassadors, including Melnyk, in July 2022.
